This policy explains what personal data Closetcall collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. Closetcall is in early access: right now this website only runs a waitlist.
The controller of your data is Closetcall, run by B. van Kesteren, based in the Netherlands. Contact: getclosetcall@gmail.com.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | To keep your place on the waitlist and email you when your invite is ready. |
| WhatsApp number (optional) | To send you alerts once the service launches. |
| The plan and alert channel you picked (Telegram, WhatsApp or email) | To understand which plans and channels people want, and to send alerts the way you prefer. |
| Campaign tags (utm, gclid), device type, approximate country (from your browser's time zone), the page you signed up on, sign-up time | To see which ads and channels bring people to the waitlist. |
We don't collect payment details, and we don't sell your data.
We process your waitlist details because you asked to join (your consent, GDPR article 6(1)(a)). Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your sign-up is stored in a private Google Sheet via Google Apps Script. Website analytics run on Google Analytics and advertising measurement on Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). The website is hosted by Netlify. These providers may process data outside the EU; Google and Netlify use safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
With your permission we use Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and see which pages and ads work. If you decline, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that does not store anything on your device. You can change your choice via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the home page.
We keep waitlist details until you unsubscribe, or at most 12 months after we launch if you don't become a user. Analytics data is kept for at most 14 months.
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy. Email us and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, in the UK the ICO, or the authority in your own country.
